Meet Your Practitioner

Josée Dewess is a graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Calgary, where she completed the four-year Master in Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc.) program. The Canadian Academy of Osteopathy is a 4200 hour, type 1 program which adheres to the highest international standard of osteopathic education recognized by the World Health Organization. Her education emphasized a comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and the relationships between the body's structure and function, along with extensive hands-on clinical training.

Osteopathic Manual Therapy is founded on the principle that the body functions as an integrated whole and possesses an inherent ability to heal and self-regulate. Osteopathic manual treatment aims to identify and address the underlying mechanical restrictions that may be contributing to dysfunction throughout the body.

Josée’s goal is to provide thoughtful, individualized care that helps restore mobility, improve function, and support your body's natural capacity for health.
